Firstly thanks for all your emails,etc. I hope that all of you, reading my blog, have got your arse into gear and started your own blog because I want to be able to come and visit your blog. Don't forget to number your "posts to make it easy for people to refer back to. I have the "mixed bag of 10" listed under the "one" post as its easier to edit mistakes, if / when I need to, which is quite often ! It's not a case of "if" I reach #1 - it is just a matter of when. Then I will "start again" ??? I will "switch" comments on twice a week, but only registered "bloggers" can leave comments, I think !!! I will have to have a look at that.

961. I Gave Him A Hug, But He Didn't Hug Me Back !!!

Down memory lane we go .........
Over the years, I met a lot of people of all ages, from all walks of life. This is a "memory" of one person, I won't forget..........

I was walking around town, with a mate, Kerry W., when we past by a fella sitting by himself, who looked like he really could do with a helping "hand". So I stopped to talk to him. He was a tourist to our shores. I'd like to think, that when he visited other parts of our country that people who saw him, reached out and gave him a helping "hand" as well, because he really did need it. He was a really interesting person to talk to. In fact I spent, the best part of the day with him, walking around the city. We even went to a buffet restaurant, where we had a meal. After we had finished our meal, we went and sat in Aotea Square, where he rolled himself a cigarette and we sat there talking for a while. A lot of people stopped and starred at us, but he didn't seem to mind. Anyway, the time came for us, to say good-bye. As we stood there, I reached out and gave him a hug. He had a big smile on his face and a tear in his eye, because I don't think many people reached out to give him a helping "hand", let alone a hug. It was sad to say good-bye to him. Who knows........our paths crossed once in life, they may cross again in the future.
In the next "post" 950 - 959 you will learn the reason why he didn't hug me back !!!

962. Computer Hint

It's not really a hint, but more something that I have been told to do after I have finished on a friends computer - always "delete" the cookies. Someone may be able to email me and explain in detail what cookies are (I aren't talking about the baked cookies, you eat either) and why people should always delete them. Anyone know - email me !

963. Our Big Family

A "new" friend asked how big our family was. In terms of brothers & sisters, etc, there are a few, but compared to some families, our family would still be classed as small. I have 6 sisters & 3 brothers. I had 5 brothers - one died before I was born and my eldest brother, Reo died in 1999. There would be at least 50+ nephews & nieces as well as great/great nephews & nieces. Both my parents had a lot of brothers & sisters, so there are a lot of aunties & uncles, plus cousins of at least 3 if not 4 generations. I would hate to be the one, to "try" and organize a reunion of all our families. Tangi's (funerals) are the only times, that some of the families get together as they are spread far & wide. Also special occassions like weddings, 21sts, etc. the families gather. I haven't been "home" for I don't know how many years, so there is a lot of family that have not met their Uncle/Cousin - "Krazy Kelvin"
All in all, the number of people in our families as I said before would be in the low 1000's. They are spread around NZ & around the world. There is just no way in the "world" I will ever meet them all !!!

964. My Thoughts On Life ???
I do not know how you look at life, but to me life is sort of like been on the "road". You are on a journey on the road of life, not really knowing what is around the corner, nor what is over the brow of the hill. Sometimes you get a long straight, where you are just coasting along nicely until all of a sudden, someone pulls in front of you and you end up running off the road. Sometimes, you get to the "crossroads" and you sit there for a while, wondering what way to go. It's bloody hard sometimes, but you keep going. Every now & again, you pull off to the side of the road and revitalize yourself. and then get moving again. If you don't know what is around the corner, you don't worry about it. If you spent all your time, worrying about life, you would not get anywhere. So you might as well do the best you can, with what you have got and get on with your life. Despite what people say, I don't think anyone really knows, that when your number gets called, whether it is going to be upstairs or downstairs ! I aren't worried where I go ! I have managed to come this far in life with my "Guardian Angel" not far behind me. It's a wonder I didn't get killed of my own doing by accident or at the hands of a stranger.

965. I Tried To Cross Over

Down memory lane we go .........
When I was about 10 or 11(memory blockage !) to age 13, we lived up north at Yorke Rd, Haruru Falls. The land where we lived bordered on the Waitangi River, which was a great source of enjoyment to "kids", especially in the summer time. Also when the tide was low, as it uncovered the mud banks on the other side of the river. This particular day "everyone" (there was brothers, sisters, cousins, friends, etc) decided to go for a swim. I watched as they started crossing over to the other side of the river. To me, it looked "dead easy" - as if they were just walking across. So I decided I'd give it a go. I just about did "cross over" but not to the other side of the river. One of the cousins (Albie A) suddenly realised that I had disappeared !!! He managed to find me amd drag me out, so I could live another day .....well lots of days. I couldn't swim then and I still can't swim today.
My "Guardian Angel" was surely with me, that day.

Rob is fairly good looking, Jonny is handsome, while the other male members (Carpentry & Booscare) of the group are so "good looking" that they have to wear masks all the time. They had another member in their group whose name was "Piano". No - he didn't play the piano - he played the drums. He had to go on tour to OZ and USA with another band that he plays in - "The Mint Chicks", so jonnyandtherobba managed to snare - "Kid Snare". She is the best looking one of them all - she is their female drummer. Don't ask me where or how they got their names - ask them. They are several photos on their website, including photos of when they played at The Supertop, Ericcson Stadium (click on bookings) here in Auckland. The video for their single "Damn Girl" was shot on location at Cornwallis Beach, also here in Auckland.Rob also plays in another band called - "Misadelphia". There are links on their website to these two other bands, so pay them a visit. Leave them a message - tell them Krazy Kelvin sent you to have a look !!! You will have to excuse some of the blue language on their message board. They try to keep it clean as they have younger brothers & sisters who also log on to their website. Even though their music is mainly aimed at young people their own age, there have been people of all ages, who have attended their gigs and enjoyed themselves. 967. Recipe - Banana Cake

I had more requests for Banana Cake, than for "Pavlova" so Banana Cake it is .........
Preheat oven to 180oC. Grease a 22cm diameter cake tin. Line base with baking paper.
Beat 125g softened butter with 3/4c caster sugar until creamy. Add 2 eggs, beating well. Add 1 tsp vanilla essence.Stir in 2 medium ripe mashed bananas.
Sift 2c flour & 1tsp baking powder. Dissolve 1 tsp baking soda, in 1c warm milk. Fold dry ingredients & milk alternately into butter mixture. Bake 45 - 50 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.Cool cake in tin for 10 minutes, before transfering to wire rack. When cold spread with icing.
Icing: Beat 75g cream cheese & 75g chopped butter in a small bowl, with electric beater until light & fluffy. Add 2/3c icing sugar. Beat until smooth. (Don't eat it all at once !)

In # 979, I sent Bernard an email regarding eating shellfish. In his reply he said ..........

Hi Kelvin, Nice to hear from you.
He mentioned a little about where he lived,etc then went on to say ........
I'm not sure what part of the world you are in Kelvin, but if you get up this way we can sure get some shellfish, providing the sea isn't too rough and its low tide (but not after 3pm) I hope this gets to you, as I am not at all confident in the email system.
After 3pm, you will find him in the local drinking hole - drinking beer, feeding the "horses" smoking cigis and chatting away with the lads, having a good time & enjoying life to the full !!!

Kia Ora Bernie, Thank you so much - not only for your email, but also for the offer of a "feed" and a beer on the beach. Boy, I can't remember when I last had a good feed of shellfish.You can buy shellfish in the shops, but you never know how fresh it is.They tell you, that they just got it in .....but !!! I aren't too hot on emails/computers either. Snail mail is good - it may take a little longer, but you know in the end it will (hopefully) get there. With emails, it is too quick. Whereas with a hand written letter, you can take your time.
I said a little bit more, then closed it off and sent it...........or did I delete it !!! I never know with computers.

Q. What were the names of your assistants ?

Q. We know that they have not only left the building, but also left the country, but where have they gone to ?
A.They were scratching themselves all the time and were getting itchy feet as well, so I sent them overseas on their big OE to be "roving reporters" for this blog and several other blogs.
Q. So, where have they gone to ? Australia ?
A. No ! They have gone to Africa first, on safari.
Q. Why Africa ?
A. Because they wanted to see the country of their birth ! Wouldn't you ? Nah, thats right - you just happened to turn up, so you aren't human !!!
Q. Did anyone go with them ?
A. No ! They are big enough & ugly enough to look after themselves.
Q. Will you miss having them around ?
A. In a way, yes. They worked for peanuts, didn't ask stupid questions and were very silent partners.
Q. Partners ???
A. Yes, partners. P.a.r.t.n.e.r.s !!! There, I have spelt it out for you. Whats wrong with you tonight ?
Q. Will they come back to New-Zealand ?
A. Yes ! They may come back for the opening of our "Gallery" which is under construction.

A. Boy ! Are you having problems tonight or what ? I think you put a banana in the wrong hole and its clogged your brain !!!

A. Hopefully soon. Everyone reading my blog, will just have to wait for what I know will be some stunning pictures from Africa.

I am sorry I have had to switch "comments" off. It takes all kinds of people to make a world - if we were all the same, what a boring world it would be - it is because of some of these people, I had to pull the plug on comments. They had left links to porn sites on my blog. (No, I didn't ask them to send them !) I will pass their details on to the people behind Bloggers. 971. Postie Postie - Snail Mail

Don't get me wrong, computers are great, they have their uses (I wouldn't be posting this on my blog otherwise) but I still love "snail mail". There is something to be said, for a hand written letter, especially love letters, on which old(er) girlfriends had dabbed their perfume. Those letters got folded and unfolded so many times and the smell seemed to stay with you, until you received your next "love letter". When I sent a reply back, I would always write on the inside flap of the envelope - "Sealed with a lick, because a kiss wouldn't stick" and then on the back of the envelope I would write "Postie, Postie don't be slow. Deliver the letter, the quicker the better". (Boy, if you can remember that, you are older than I am).Show me a computer that can do that. Who knows - in the future, you might open your emails and get a whiff of perfume or a whiff of cows hit. I always used too end my letters, "I'm only as far away as your letterbox. I still use it from time to time, but most of the time now, its "I'm only as far away as your computer".
Despite modern technology, one thing doesn't seem to have changed - the wait for a reply. Blame the human, not the machine.

972. Run Over By A Truck At 7

Believe me, from where I saw it - it was a truck !!! I would of been about 7 at the time, I think (getting old - memory blockage !!)
It happened at our house, where we live at Wolfe St, Whangarei. I was watching out for Dad, who was due home from work. I saw him just going to turn into our concrete driveway. So I rushed out and tried to jump up on the running board of the truck and grab hold of the door handle, while the truck was still moving up our long driveway, but I slipped and fell on the ground, under the truck. The back wheel ran right over my stomach. The first thing Dad said, when he got out and picked me up was that he thought it was a block of wood. They phoned for an ambulance and when it arrived they put me in it. They poke and prodded me and asked if I was alright. I said yes, so they carried me into the house. The good thing was, I was allowed to stay home from school for a week even though there was nothing wrong with me. The best part about it, was my brothers & sisters were extra nice fetching & carrying for "poor old sick me". I made the most of it I can tell you, but I never tried doing that again. I remember the truck had high wooden sides and its colour was green. I may of been a little bit "green" myself, when Dad picked me up - wouldn't you after been run over by a truck. (I think it weighed about 5 or 6 tons) My "Guardian Angel" was with me that day. I'll see if any of the family have any old photos of it.

To recap briefly - Steve M. who lives in France, who was trying to find an Whangarei Boys High School classmate who he was at school with in 1969/72 Carruth House. His mates name was Terry R. (Steve gave his full name, but I only like using a persons christian name & initial in my blog - unless they are really famous). To cut a long story short, I found his friend and his friends mum. This was Steve's reply to me ..........

Hi Kelvin, That is just amazing and I can't believe that you went to all that trouble - the wines are on me if you ever make it to France, or even better a few pints of guiness at my local. I'll give Terry a call and send him an email. I'll also call his mum. This is quite uncanny and like you said, it only took a couple of days. I am amazed that you have been so helpful. 974. Comments On My Blog Site

At the present time, "comments" has been shut off. (See "About Me") When I do switch it back on, it will only be for a certain number of hours, so you can send me your comments, if you want to. Any shade of blue, is a nice colour, when it comes to cars, houses, clothes, etc but its not very nice when it comes to language, so hopefully no one will use that colour or try to post porn. When it is on, you will notice "comments" under the different posts. At this stage, I will switch it on - on Friday nights from 6pm - 10pm & from 8am - 12 noon on Sundays. You can still send me emails, if you want to.

975. Computer Hint 2 - Easy Way To Delete Spam

Did I hear you right - you don't get spam ??? I aren't talking about the tinned variety either, because thats where "pink pigs", like the one flying past the window at the moment ends up. Ohooo he is flying mightly low and I think he is heading in your direction !!! (To those that don't know, a flying "pink pig" means that the person is telling porkies or lies)
Spam - If you receive a large number of spam emails, you don't have to delete them individually. Hold down the Ctrl key as you use the mouse (not the pig) to select each email, then hit the delete button, to get rid of them all at once. I will see what other computer hints I can find to share with you. Anyone got any ??? Email me ..... thanks !!!

976. Paihia - Mr.B/Teacher & Miss.C/Dental Nurse

Mr B married Miss C - did they named any of children with E, F, ...!!! Those of you who were at Paihia School, will remember, but can anyone remember what Mr.B's first name was. I don't think it started with "A". But if it did, they had the start of the alphabet, for her first name was Denise. I must do some "digging" around and see if anyone knows if they are still around or not. If they are no longer around I won't be doing much digging. Even if they are still around, I shouldn't have to do much digging - for Denise, was a first cousin from my mothers side. Her parents lived at Kawakawa, just up from the old Railway Station. Her mother & my mother were sisters & their mother, our grandmother lived at Albert St, for many years. Kawakawa was well known for years because the railway tracks run down the middle of the main street. We will return to Kawakawa sometime and tell you about something else that it is now "world famous" for and hopefully have a couple of photos to show you as well, of the outside of this place (I won't show you photos of the inside) The place has something to do with a famous person from Austria.

Warning: This will send shivers down your spine. All kids may be fictitious and any resemblance to actual big kids, living is purely coincidental.
977. Pennies From Heaven ???

Down the lane we go or in this case under the hotel we go ..... pennies from heaven ? Well to kids, that is what it seemed like back in those days. All they had to do to collect the "pennies', was to crawl around underneath the outside decking area of a certain hotel. There was broken glass, beer tops, cigarette butts & "pennies" dropped, through the gaps of the boards, by drunk people who sat at the tables on the decking having a beer or two. It always seem to be wet - whether it was fresh beer spilt from their jugs, or re-cycled beer, kids didn't care. All they cared about were the "pennies from heaven" !!! Because they knew that afterwards, they could bury their "pennies" in the sand, while they had a swim. Then lie on on the beach in the sun drying off, eating ice-cream & lollies brought with their "pennies from heaven". Then currency changed its name and the "pennies from heaven" became dollars & cents !!!
Put your hands up, all you big kids who lived in the Bay of Islands and who went on a "pub crawl" as this will jog more than a few memories. I don't think any kid, in those days was told not to do it - even if he was told not to, he still went ahead and did it anyway because it really was "Pennies From Heaven". Kids were kids !!!

978. Comments From My April Email

On April Fools Day 2005, (the day that "sparked" my interest in computers) I found a site on the internet - no it wasn't porn. (some of you ....!!!) It was search site to do with finding former mates. During my search I sent out a number of emails. In the process, of finding "old" I made a few "new" mates as well. These are some of the comments I received in reply to my April, 3 page "blast from the past" I sent out a week later, to some of those old mates & new that I found ....

Jeyzus Kelvin, what a blast to get your email. For sure that was many many years ago. It brought back some memories that were well hidden away.........

979. Email Out - Shellfish On The Beach

Kia Ora Bernard, Don't eat all those shellfish boy - leave some for the visitors. !!! Hi ya ! I was in 3D/19?? (Talk about women hiding their age, Kelvin has got nothing on them / PA) My one & only year. As for memories, I like to think I left more behind, than I took away - same as your shellfish. So if / when I come north, you can dig for the shellfish - I'll look for driftwood, so we can cooked them on the beach. Don't forget the bread & butter. I don't drink, but I'll have one beer with you, to wash the shellfish down. You can bring that as well, because I'm the visitor !!! (haha) Take care Bernard. I was always at the bottom of the class. Some of you even treated me like a mushroom - "kept me in the dark, and fed me s...! (I assure you that I can spell that 4 letter word, but as this is a family blog - read by family & friends, one & all, not only around New Zealand, but around the world- even the "crazies" out-of-this-world read it.) I'm sure that with your vast superior knowledge, you can fill in the gaps.

When you look at the six letters of the alphabet above what do you see ? I had not read about this anywhere. It just came to me, so it was meant to be shared with all those friends & family, as well as people who just happen to come across my blog, around NZ and around the world.
Anyone out there thinking about SUICIDE , talk to someone - talk to a stranger - email a friend. RING A HELP LINE .No one is alone in this world. "There are no strangers in the world, just friends that you have not met". Someone, somewhere, sometime will "touch" upon your world and become a real friend to you.

P - PROBLEM ? Don't think about the two letters after the P as been a Quick Release to your problem and commit SUICIDE - think about the two letters before the P - NO !!!!!!!!!!

Don't even give it a second thought. There is always someone that is worst off than you. Believe me, the heartache does not stop, when your heart does. It goes on forever in the hearts of the people that loved you, that you leave behind.
I've lost 2 mates to suicide & also one person, who was like a "son" to me, because I had been around him from day 1.
Theres not enough words in the world to describe the heartache that is left behind.

Tears in your eyes, can be wiped away, but tears in your heart are there to stay.

I wasn't going to share my "blog" with anyone, but this is an exception. If anyone reading this has "lost" a loved one and wants to share their feelings of hurt with poeple, send me an email, or leave a comment. Footnote:Vance is talking about the Whangarei Boys High School 125th Reunion Queens Birthday weekend 2006. Have a look at your class photos old(er) boys & see if a boy in the front row has his socks down......thats me.....I'm back !!!!!!! Teachers were strict in those days - "Pull your socks up boy", so there would not be many photos with"socks down". I was a real young "rebel" then - now I'm a ..........!!! (No rude comments please) If you see a big black limo cruising slowly past the venue of the reunion, it won't be the mafia. It will only be me checking that the nearest tree hasn't got a noose hanging from the branches with the welcome wagon waiting underneath the tree. Those of you that know the limo don't try and step out into the middle of the road, as I would just tell my chauffeur to run you all over - You wouldn't be "fat" classmates any more, you would be real "flat-classmates". It was a car you couldn't miss - everytime, I went home my chauffeur had to back down the street where the family lived, because there was no room to turn it around. We went all over the place on that car, but we never slept in it even though you could put a 3 foot mattress in the boot and lay it out flat. It opened a lot of doors so a lot of memories "ride" on that limo. Theres more stories to come about that limo. I had the best chauffeur ever - thanks (he knows who he is)

983. Don't You Just Love Teachers ?
Especially old supposed-to-be-retired teachers? A few days after I had sent out the April 3 page memories & history "blast from the past", I got an email from a retired teacher, asking for my postal address. I have been on the search for an old WBHS class photo, so I thought he may of found one. I emailed him my postal address and a couple of days later an envelope arrived. When I opened it - guess what it contained ??? It was a copy of my April 3 page email, marked & corrected for spelling mistakes. He also wrote the comment - "Must try harder next time". I sent him an email to tell him I had received his envelope. his reply came back - " I could not resist it. I wish I had of been a fly on the wall". I sent back a reply - "I wish that you had been a fly on the wall as well, a squashed one". You had to laugh though ! At least he gave me 1 out of 5 for trying. So now, I always keep a dickcharneary at hand.

984. EMAIL OUT - I Sent Out The Welcome Wagon
Do you belong to one of those friend search things? I do ! It was during my search for old(er) classmates, I saw "Steve" who was new to the site, so I sent out the welcome wagon.........."I am sending you out the welcome wagon, but it's dry because you have all the wine." (He lives in France) He went to my old school and was in Carruth House, years ago. In his reply, he said "Thanks for the welcome". He also mentioned that he was looking for a old classmate,Terry, who he was at school with. Within 2 days of receiving his email (after a few phone calls) .....I struck "gold". I ended up talking to Terry's mother, who Steve knew as well of course. So I was able to email Steve with all the details of the whereabouts of Terry. But it didn't end there - Terry's mum was off on a world trip, within days of me phoning her. One of the countries on her itinerary, was France. How uncanny, can a person get. So if you belong to a "search" thing and you are searching for "old", spare a thought for the "new" as well and send out the welcome wagon. You never know ??? (Steve's email in will be in the next "post of 10" - read what he had to say in reply) Thanks for your "friendship" Steve. Terry, I have your email address. I was going to send you my blog address, but Steve will no doubt, tell you all about it. I hope your mother where-ever she is in the world is having a wonderful trip.

985. Recipe - Chinese Chicken
I can't vouch for this, as I have never tried it, but the word is it's "good". Thanks Raewyn - you could of given me sample to try, when you gave me the recipe. Here it is........one third of a cup of sugar, half a cup of soya sauce, one and a half cups water, 3 to 4 slices of ginger, 1 clove garlic. Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and bring it to the boil. Add chicken pieces and simmer until the chicken is cook. Thicken with one teaspoon cornflour. (If it's good, I'll take all the credit, but if it's yuk - blame Raewyn)

986. What's The Logic In Having A "Blog"
To Jenny, who works at ERO in OZ, did you get hit in the head, when you were a kid, too ??? Like I said, you can't have any family or friends - well may be you have a few, just that they haven't told you yet. I know that we, all here in NZ love you (not !!!) The logic of having a "blog" is that it is a good way to keep in touch with friends & family no matter where in the world they live. Plus, I can't be all that crazy because given time, all those that are having a "free" ride here & now, will have to put their hands in their pockets, or in your case, your hand in your purse. Just because you know me, doesn't mean to say you are going to get a "free" ride after 06 / 06 / 06 !!! I only want the folding stuff, because I don't have to wear glasses - yet !!! Plus I will find things to sell on my "blog" site. What size TShirt do you take ?? XXXXXXX Bye Jenny !!! Must of been that chocolate we sent - we won't send you any more. 987. "I Scratched My Skull"
Going back in time ..........Back in the "dark ages" we were on a Paihia school camping trip, at Redwood Park, Swanson, Auckland. There was plenty to keep small minds amused, including what was known as "swing-boats" (for the benefit of those uneducated, it was a big swing in the shape of a boat, which could hold 4 - 6 kids, depending on how big they were of course). My sister who was in one of the swing-boats, threw me her jumper, as the swing came down. It fell on the ground, so I bent down to pick it up, forgetting that the swing-boat was coming back down again. As I stood up, the swing-boat hit me just above my right eye. (I think its the first time man has flown without been in a plane). "Blood" was everywhere - there was a huge gash in my head. I remember putting my fingers in the "hole" and "scratching my skull". I was taken to get stitched up. Thats my excuse for been crazy - what 's your excuse ???
I don't think it affected my brain too much - still want to be friends ???

988. Computer Hint 1 - "Bring It Back"
With me been the 2 finger typist I am, every now and again ( no, not all the time) when I am typing, I delete something by error. Barbara (again, has a lot to answer for) told me that if you hold down the Ctrl (control) key and push Z - it comes back.Like me ! I always type slow though, as I know you all can't read as fast.

Do you want to help make this great blog, even greater? I am looking for photos of places of interest not only from around NZ, but also from around the world etc etc !!! People reading this who have photos of "places" that they have visited, etc, etc lets have you. Email me for my postal address, as I would prefer photos posted to me by snail mail. Include a few words about each photo. Also include a note, if you would like the photos returned. The idea is to make this "blog" interesting enough to get people coming back all the time. HE IS A GOOD FRIEND WHO HAS BEEN IN OUR COUNTRY FOR A WHILE. NOW HE IS HEADING HOME TO HIS VILLAGE AND I REALLY DO MEAN "HIS VILLAGE", BECAUSE HE IS "THE CHIEF"OF A VILLAGE OF 25000 PEOPLE. HIS UNCLE HAS BEEN LOOKING AFTER THE VILLAGE, WHILE JAMES HAS BEEN IN NEW-ZEALAND.

HE IS DUE TO RETURN TO OUR COUNTRY IN MID JULY. I MISSED A REALLY GREAT LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY - I COULD OF WENT WITH HIM TO GHANA.

I was born in 19?? !!! Keep them guessing & they will come back...........!!! Maybe one day I'll charge people a small subscription - $20 per year - thats only $1.6666666666666 per month. That's a good idea & you thought I was crazy. As from the 06 / 06 / 06 - I will be giving you the chance to say "ya" or "nah". No is going to get a free ride - not even family !!! It will be either pay or I will slow down & you can jump out. We won't stop, because we might not get going again. Just be careful we don't run you over as you hit the road. Theres only one "nut" who doesn't have to pay & thats the "NUT" behind the wheel - me ! Those that have got "plenty of money", I'll charge double or maybe triple if they complain !!! For all those millionaire mates out there - 06 / 06 / 06 will be the time to pull your hands out of those deep pockets of yours and give me a donation, or I'll come back to haunt you !!! It's all going to a good cause - me - so I can make crazy people even crazier. Make them laugh till they cry ! 993. You Can Teach An Old Dog New Tricks

Who ever said that you can't teach an "old" dog new tricks, has never met me. I am learning new tricks every day and even getting some of those humans who have been receiving my 2 / 3 page of memories each month, "begging" for more, hence this blog. So new friends and old, where-ever you live in the world can log on and read...........just don't laugh too much or you will end up crying. If you have to cry, just don't ever "cry" in a internet cafe in the Queen St, Auckland area where I hang out. I don't own a computer, so sometimes I pay $2 per hour just to do this.

If you don't, you have got a problem. I'm no doctor, but my diagnosis, would be that you have either a "memory blockage" or a "drain blockage" !!! Me, personally would prefer the blockage at the top end. (Keep it clean - yeah I know - Family Blog) Some of the countries though are - New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Northen Ireland, France, Belgium, USA, Spain, Norway, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Antarctica, Chatham Islands - Stephen J / Ex Paihia - stop feeding your face with all those crayfish & answer to your name boy ! :-( I know that given time, the list of countries will grow as word spreads like "wild fire" about the crazy man - down under - with his even crazier memories on his "blog" !!!

If you were lucky enough to receive my April & May emails and you thought those were "a blast from the past", hold on to your seats, because this baby has more fuel and we are going on a trip where no man but one, has been before - into my head !!! What I might do, is every 10th one (990 / 980 / 970 ......you get the idea) include a preview of what you are going to be letting your self in for. There will be a couple of old & new memories; a couple of emails in & emails out; thoughts, ideas, I'll tell you about any good books I have read, movies I have seen (thats if I get time) Later on, once I get sorted I will try and "post" some photos as well if I can, to do with the memory. I can tell you, that there is going to be some great times ahead. Its a great site and it could be even greater...........with all your help !

999."Someone Is Knocking At My Door, But Don't Worry, I Won't Let Amyone In !!!

Years ago, back in the "dark ages" when I was at school, if I had told people that one day, I would sit down at a keyboard and type details of my "memories" on to a blog site, for other people to read they would of thought that I had gone crazy. They would of not only locked me up, but thrown away the key as well. So, make the most of it - read my "posts" while you have got the chance, because I think those people in "white coats" will come knocking on my door. If fact, someone is knocking at my door now, but don't worry, I won't let them in, because I have so much to share with you ! If you have got "memories" worth sharing with other people - create your own blog site. I may be crazy, but I aren't crazy enough to share my blog site with anyone and let them take up my space. I have numbered my "posts" just to make it easy for you - to find again. Am I good or what. Plus when you tell your friends to log on and "read" my blog, you can tell them what numbers you like the most. Am I good to you or what ???Nine Nine Nine - we have 2 on board and a long way to go. At 999 I will be just a baby because I have seen a blog which would have to be one one of the biggest, if not the biggest, which had - 3835 "Posts" - a total of 328 308 words !!! I will also be "posting" a thank you, to all those friends & family not around NZ but around the world. Especially, those that have been receiving my 2 page monthly emails, as well as personal emails. We are all in this together..........I'm just the "nut" behind the wheel.
